The powers of the bananas combine to make a great situation in which you have Freeze mode and double points at the same time, or a Frenzy with double points. Of course, the absolute best thing that could happen is when you get all 3 bananas at once. Then, you have a frenzy of fruit all over your screen, moving slowly so that you could get an amazing combo and you’ll get double points for all of it! This doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it’s the best way to rack up those points!

If you’re not sure that you could beat 1,000 points, keep trying. My personal best is just over 1,000 but I have a friend who has gotten over 1,300! For example, if you’re playing on a phone, you will do better on a phone with a smaller screen. That’s because you have to slide your finger for a shorter distance so your slices are more effective. With a smaller screen, the fruit are closer together and it’s easier to hit them. Now, that’s a Fruit Ninja tip that you may not be able to follow since you might not have another phone to play with, but it’s worth a thought.

When looking for Fruit Ninja tips, you’ll also find that several people recommend playing the game upside down. That’s right – just flip your phone upside down! What this accomplishes is that your hand will no longer be in the way when you’re getting ready to swipe. Instead of slicing all the fruit as they come up, wait for more fruit to come and see if you can connect them with a swipe to get a combo. Sometimes, it really pays off to wait until the last moment when the fruit are getting to the bottom of the screen and swipe only then. That way, you may get some fruit that are just coming up from the bottom of the screen too. This can be dangerous because there might be a bomb coming up in there, but more often than not it pays off in the form of a bigger combo.
